Concept:

This is a large tradeshow booth for IIDA inspired by the roll that IIDA plays in a professional's life. "Connections" symbolize the branching and connecting IIDA does in the professional world and how it helps the graduating interior design students transition into the professional world.

Design Applications

This booth is designed to act as a home base for members and an inviting booth to new ones at the 2018 Orgatec Trade Fair in Cologne, Germany. The booth features multiple different and iconic furniture pieces that draw the eyes of many designers and invite them to enter the booth. The multiple open conference spaces are utilized by consultants and members alike to recharge and escape from the hustle and bustle of any trade show. The concept is shown through custom flooring of overlaying wayfinding lines, to show the overlapping movements within the booth, as well as through the ceiling tubing that shows the connecting of the different spaces.  The ultraviolet color is the Pantec's color of 2018.
